About Us

Robbie (son of Peter) completed his apprenticeship at GPR as an HD Diesel Mechanic and worked within the company for several years before gaining further experience in the Northwest working in mines and remote work sites. Robbie returned to GPR in 2015 and worked in setting up a successful car wholesale business, GPR Auto. In 2021, Robbie became a Director of GPR Trucks Service & Repair. Robbie has brought to GPR his knowledge and experience and has brought new dynamics to the business which has seen the company develop to where it is today.

Amanda has been employed with GPR Trucks since 2004, Amanda started operating the front desk, and looking after wages, accounts and job card finalisation. In 2020, Amanda took the position of General Manager and works closely with the Directors to ensure the smooth running of GPR.

Amanda has a degree in Manufacturing Engineering and was the Personnel Officer of a paper mill based in the UK. Amanda brings a variety of knowledge and experience in accounts, personnel and the road transport industry.

Peter started work at GPR Trucks in 2013 in our Part’s Department. In 2021, Peter took over the role of Service Advisor and is your first point of contact in the service department. Peter has worked in the transport industry since the age of 15. Peter is a qualified heavy diesel mechanic and in his early career oversaw the building of Transperth buses for over 15 years. Peter has been a Service Manager for both a commercial dealership and independent workshop. Peter brings a wealth of knowledge about a variety of road transport equipment, parts and their suppliers.

Casey (daughter of Peter and sister of Robbie) started with GPR Trucks in 2017 and has previously worked with our sister Company Chain Reaction Motorcycles for 10 years. Casey is responsible for the administrations of jobs once complete, obtaining order numbers and ensuring that customers receive completed service sheets and the administration of one of our major customers paperwork for their PDI inspections, first services and their warranty work. Casey has a broad range of experience with the administration procedures of GPR.

Matt has recently joined GPR Trucks, when he made the move from New Zealand to Australia. Matt has more than 18 years of experience in the heavy diesel industry. Matt was formerly a Fleet Maintenance and Compliance Manager for a fleet company based in New Zealand and has experience in ensuring vehicles are compliant with road standards, to minimise risk of breakdowns and the costs associated with vehicles being off the road, for both short term and long term periods.

Luke has been with GPR for over 11 years and has gained a comprehensive knowledge of truck, bus, and trailer parts. Luke sources the majority of parts for our workshop mechanics and is the first point of contact for Brahman Bus and Higer spare parts from bus operators throughout Australia. Luke has built up a great working relationship with our suppliers from the OEM’s to the small business operators and can source parts for the best price within the lead time required.

Ansy started with GPR Trucks in 2022, following 5 years as a Parts Interpreter at an OEM workshop based in Bibra lake. Ansy is responsible for Wheel Aligning bookings and job flow. Ansy runs the front desk and is also responsible for wages preparation and accounting administration. Ansy brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and vibrancy to GPR Trucks with a go to attitude.

Jamie joined GPR when he left school and did his apprenticeship through GPR. Jamie has worked as a mechanic, workshop leading hand, Service Advisor and now runs our Field Service Department. Jamie has been with GPR for over 18 years and has a wealth of mechanical knowledge through his love of transport and his passion for Jetboat racing. Jamie is currently working FIFO overseeing and carrying out repairs to a fleet of buses on Barrow Island.
